Who Can Apply?

Bachelors or Master’s degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent
1-4 years of work experience in Javascript development

About The Role:

We are looking for a Javascript Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central MongoDB database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Therefore, hands-on experience on front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications using Node.js, MongoDB, Redis and Queues
Development of user-facing elements and its integration with server side logic
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
Implementation of security and data protection
Integration of data storage solutions such as Redis
Effective use of message queueing systems

Key Skills:

Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node,js and MongoDB
Knowledge of Express.js, NVM, NPM, PM2 and such
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
Good understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade
Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Less
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
Understanding of message queueing systems and experiene with any of the popular MQs such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, etc
Understanding accessibility and security compliance
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
